Wishing all of you a very happy DIWALI and prosperous New Year.
A month full of get together and best wishes from my dear and near ones, friends and students. My students have arranged a get together on 2nd October to celebrate my Gaurav Puraskar. That evening is really enjoyed by all the guests, invitees, and friends and of course I also enjoyed a lot. Then my son and parents came from Odisha. So we celebrate together. On 23rd October we performed on the foundation day of Vijaya bank. My students performed Ganesh vandana and Abhinaya Kanhi gale which is about Radha is searching for Krishna. I performed Durga Stuti, an invocation to Ma Durga which is the symbolization of women power.
On 26th Oct Nrutyadaya School of Classical dance of Vadodara in collaboration with Indira Gandhi Rashtriya ManavSangrahalay, Bhopal had invited me as their special guest in the Purvottar Festival and felicitated me. I feel it is not my felicitation; it is the felicitation of Odissi Dance in Gujarat. Thank you Aiswarya, the artistic Director of Nrutyodaya Charitable trust and a promising Mohiniattam Dancer.
